ok, so i found this pic and it is of a guy who drew this amazing batman picture on the sidewalk somewhere in NYC. it was all done in CHALK!! even the "ledge" that hes sitting on is in chalk!

seriously, how cool is this??

I've seen other pictures of his work, it is amazing and mind blowing.

saw some amazing chalk sidewalk artists in Florence, but nothing that compares to this, the 3-D effect is amazing

Someone posted this a few weeks ago. There are a whole bunch others like that, but they only have the three dimensional look if you look from one specific angle. If you try looking from another angle the image looks very distorted.

That is just superb, I wish I could do that. I hope they tip him well, that much chalk must cost a lot.

Maybe if the chalk Virgin Mary on 8th Street near 5th Avenue was three-dimensional, people would stop stepping on her.
