Posted: 7/31/04 at 2:57amPlano Rep's season last year was amazing! This year has been okay. I had an audition for 'Camelot' there this past Sunday...just shooting for chorus though, too young for any other parts.

Posted: 7/31/04 at 3:00amThere looking for a Mordred around 25 years old. I'd easily take chorus b/c they produce great shows. And Joel Ferrel is a great, and fun, director.

Posted: 7/31/04 at 3:20amIt makes absolutely no difference whether Namo, MJR or jrb are serious in their opinions expressed here. What DOES matter is that Priest and Bobo know what their reality is, and don't take to heart what anyone else has to say about it. Updated On: 7/31/04 at 03:20 AM

Ohhh, just wanted to say that is one of my all time favorite DVDs.
I adore Linda's Man of LaMancha- the only woman who can pull that off.
I can listen to the ALW Love Trio on infinite repeat.
The whole thing is fantastic.

Oh Lord. I come home after a long night of partying, dancing and seducing everything that crosses my path, intend to do a quick check of the board before getting some sleep and find a thread that compells me me to stay wake and comment.
I find this whole gay/straight thing boring. Versatility is so much more fun. I always wonder why it is that men who identify themselves as gay are very willing to flirt (and often much more than that) with a woman but, it doesn't go the other way. Men who identify themselves as straight have such a fear of being perceived as gay if they notice that another man is attractive. It has also been my experience that anyone who has to qualify their sexulity with words such as "As a straight man..." are the one who are most afraid. What do you fear, being perceived as gay or someone noticing something in you that you are unable to accept?
I think Bobo and Pol need to spend just one night on the town with Nina to have their self perceptions turned inside out. You won't know who you're doing or why and after a while, you won't care.

I agree with Namo on this.
In College, I dated a great guy who was also the Editor of my school newspaper. I was the theater critic and I also covered culture. There was gay bashing on campus and a friend of mine came to me to write a story on it. The editor did not want to run the story. We had a huge argument about it. He came off as homophobic and there was a reason!
I found out a few years ago that he came out of the closet.
So you never know!

Posted: 7/31/04 at 9:47amI guess you could say that, Iflit. Except I don't use drugs to tempt men and get them under my control. My siren call is enough to lure them into a world of wild abandon. Just ask Papalovesmambo.

Posted: 7/31/04 at 11:12amWhy Nina...doing the old kiss-and-tell? I would have expected better from a high-class hussy...oh, excuse me, SIREN, was it? ... such as yourself.

I'm conflicted with something. No, not that...
There seems to be a renewed movement to out all the gay Congressional staff who work for homophobic Senators. I kinda like that idea. These are not confused kids -- they're arch-conservative professionals who have lovers, hang out in bars, and in one case did a photo spread for a gay rag in Washington.
If perchance one of these so-called straight men sent me a PM once which was a little less than heterosexual in content, do I have the right to splay it out on the Board?
I think I won't do that, but anti-gay hypocrites do not deserve the cover of darkness. They're hurting themselves, their lovers and the movement.
Read this. I say OUT THEM.
