BME-
Thank you. Relax? I don't ever relax. Jewish people or at least this Jewish person does not relax.
I am very happy producing and writing. I AM STRUGGLING. But I am happy.
I get to interview interesting people. It is my purpose and I LOVE EVERY SECOND.
Praying the money will come.

Corine- you are right... we don't relax. My husband and I went out for a nice romantic dinner and we are both back now at our respective computers... he is working (I am procrastinating by posting here... but I have a paper open in another window, so that kind of counts). Neither of us know how to relax either. Maybe it is a Jewish thing

.

The money will come...at least that's what I keep telling myself!

Thank you. I hope it comes for you as well.
Kiss your adorable doggie.
Corine
PS: I was very lucky a few years ago I worked on a tv show about New York City and I loved every minute. I did not make lots of money but it was a dream job.
Last year, I had my own tv show and the best boss and job in the world but it ended. I have been very lucky. I have gone after my dreams and someday they will come true.

As my mentor Bob Aissa always said
Dreams do come true.

Corine,

You had a TV show? Where did it air? How many shows did you do? Were you the host?

Thanks Corine! I'll send you a PM tomorrow when I take a break- ironically, part of my Ph.D. involves a TV show, but that's for another time.....first, I must finish surviving my qualifiers.

Simba says hello! He just got groomed and looks so handsome, if I must say so myself!

The current administration has made sure that all DC elephants are well taken care of. That big guy is up on a new stand - better than ever.

(If he'd been a donkey he'd probably be in the same place as the old blue whale by now.....)

I work at Dunkin Donuts and at houses that need a babysitter. And I spend all my money on cast recordings.

I have my books and my poetry to protect me...
