Didn't see a current thread for this and I even did a search, so nobody should be blowing their top. Anyway, check out the link for the complete list of what's on the DVD/CD.

This is cool. For a second I thought there was yet another DVD release of the film.

I'm SO glad I haven't bought the revival cast recording yet. I have been thinking about it, but now i'm glad I didn't! I would've been missing out on this. This sounds incredible!

OMG!!! I can't wait!!!
Sounds interesting. Well worth purchasing.
This will SOOOO be in my collection
How aweswome is this?!
Are there any more demos from Fred Ebb and John Kander out there? I'd love to have a whole third disc devoted to just that. God, this is exiting news!!!
This made my day :)
I could ask for nothing more.
And when will pre-orders start on Amazon.com?
Pity theres no Caroline O'Connor on this, maybe on the DVD.
But looking forward to buying it.
Melanie Griffith preserved forever! My life is complete!
great, but.......... bit of a downer
Seeing the press release's title, I thought they were announcing that the all-star 10th anniv PERFORMANCE was going to be recorded and released.
Still a martini, but they forgot the olive

Im slightly horrified that they put people like Melanie Griffith on the CD.... mostly because she was so god awful. I am thrilled, however, that they recognized Bianca :)
And what? No representation of the Parisian company? Im hurt! lol

I share CJR's horror at the inclusion of Melanie.
Frankly there isn't too much on that second cd that I would need...pity they didn't find some of the less famous but more vocally appealing Roxies worthy of preserving for posterity (i.e. Karen Ziemba, Belle Calaway, Michelle DeJean...and what about Sandy Duncan, surely she's roughly as famous as Lynda Carter, isn't she??)
Hopefully the DVD contents will be worth paying $34.95 for - I'd hate to pay that much just to have the 68-page booklet.

Maybe there is no professional footage from some of the other international companies.
Dissappointed that France ( Paris/Montreal company) is not being recognized at all so far.
Very odd for them to not include a company that had one of the longer runs as far as international companies are concerned and played in two countries. "Canada and France".
It sounds like a nice set, but really sad there isn't more Chita/Gwen stuff listed. It would have made it a complete set by adding the original 70s cast CD all cleaned-up and remastered. But I guess you cant please everyone. :)

i cant wait to hear "roxie" sung by brooke shields- i think that'll be awesome to hear again, and to have preserved!

NBC, I concur.... cant believe there was no inclusion of people like Charlotte and Belle..... and other notable Roxie, Velma and Billys.... That makes me sad, especially considering I KNOW there is press footage of them.
And as for having no one from Paris or Canada.... well I was just chatting with a friend from the show and we're both more than a little disgusted at the lack of recognition for these two companies.

Isn't that just the cd track listing? I haven't seen what's going to be on the DVD yet I don't think, so maybe there will be press footage of some of our favorites...though I'm not holding my breath. They will probably use previously televised footage, for rights reasons...
Did Bianca recently record those three songs? I think the tracks of Ute and Ana Montanaro are taken from existing cast recordings, so if they didn't make a cd with the French cast, that's probably why they weren't included on this.

Well; I'm also dissappointed about the french cast. These french version (they are 2 different version) are very great and Tara was (and is) a great Velma ! It's a shame that there isn't official cast recording and recognized in this new stuff...

There isnt a french recording of the show. I checked everywhere. However there is an early version of Terra Singing "All that Jazz' on Laurent ruquier"s website
http://www.ruquier.com/ecriture/chansons.html?mnu=menu2
or www.ruquier.com
There is also a mix group recording on Youtube of All that Jazz it features the montreal ensemble cast but the women singing were from tv shows in Montreal. Only one girl (I think) is the girl who played Roxie is one of the main women. Terra isnt in this footage.
I would have to agree that perhaps the recording for the second cd are being taken from already recorded materials from previous international companies.
still its too bad to not include more alumni who were with the show over the years.
