Make that 12. Some of just just have faith vs cynicism. Sorry people tend to lean towards the negative side before looking for something good.

True, we haven't seen the show as yet. I signed up because I want to be informed of any news or updates from the show, and also because I'm a huge fan of Jerry Mitchell and Christian Borle.
As far as I can see, there's nothing wrong with that.

I realize that sondhead. However, if you click on the show it comes up with a list of articles that relate to the topic. Call it being lazy but it just makes things a lot more accessible.

I don’t mean to bitch or rant but I do not understand why people are so aggressive on the boards. Just because we're all hidden away safely behind a computer doesn't mean anyone has the right to judge and / or be rude to everyone else. If someone wants to add a show to their favorites, then great; they want to express their interest. Who honestly cares?

I am also very excited for this show to begin . . . I think its going to be a good one. From what I heard, I like it already :) Leave the people who like it alone, can't we all have an opinion in the broadway world? Some of you are broadway legends in your own mind on here!

I made a list of all your faults, it was quite detailed and lengthy too and when I read it through I missed you. Your like a classic Eagles song, you just cant help but sing along even though it sometimes gets annoying too. How many times do I have to tell you, I'm DAMN excited for this show. It's just that it can't be your favorite if it doesn't exist yet. You may love the idea and the songs you've heard, but it's not one of your favorite shows, full stop.

I agree with the original poster on this thread. It is rather absurd to list a show that hasn't opened anywhere yet as one of your favorites. But is this really a first on BWW? I mean look at all the Spring Awakening and Wicked threads. Tons of the people who gush there haven't seen the shows they are lauding.

It's my favorite show! I love Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Coolidge - the only show I like more is Waiting for Guffman.

Just be aware of how many shows have great scores and yet completely failed as a whole, due to book, direction, etc.

STEEL PIER, MACK AND MABEL, THE RINK, etc., etc.

I get the point. I'm excited, too. I'm flying to SF (it helps that I have a brother who lives there) for the first performance, and I'm going to the first NY preview.

But one of my fave shows? Let's see the script first, and maybe a good song.

My gad, can you all just get an f'n life if you have nothing else to do other than try to make fun of people for having Legally Blonde as a favourite musical. Honestly, go waste your time somewhere else and not look like a huge tool.

Does it count if you've been to a sneak peek and have actually seen a half-dozen numbers from the show? And you enjoyed that much of the show, can you then call it a favorite?

Umm yes, Legally Blonde IS going to change the world. The poppy and infectious songs will be stuck in the heads of everyone and the whole world will burst out into a chorus of "Omigod You Guys!!!" Legally Blonde will bring world peace.
