Amazon is taking orders for a June 5th release currently. Same with thecast recording of Curtains.
wow, that is being produced quickly, huh? thats awesome, i REALLY hope i get a chance to see this show at the end of June or early July!
110 NEEDS TO EXTEND! I ARRIVE IN NYC a day after it is set to close. Please announce an extension!!!!!
Yesterday, when I said something to Steve about seeing it on the 15th and just making my birthday 5 days early cause they were gonna be closed, he grinned and said "Maybe, Maybe not. Keep talking it up." So I guess there's no decision yet.
I'm so excited about the cast recording. I decided to forgo lunch money for today and tomorrow to put in my pre-order yesterday. The guy there said 5/29. But I will be SOOOOOO happy to get it early!!

Glad to know the CD is to be released May 22nd.
Will they record it first?
Box office said they would be shocked if no extension is announced.
I NEED this CD badly !!!!!
I'm getting enough money out of my account tomorrow (payday) to pay cash for full-price orchestra, then putting it in an envelope and keeping it in my bag. The day an extension's announced, I'm going as soon as school lets out (I teach AND go to school full time...much fun) and buying a ticket for my birthday night!!
Hey testing...since you may hear before I do...will you PM me when you do?? Pretty please??
You got it, Jordan-- !! No problem ! You do the same if you hear something !
DW went last night (that was her mom's day gift)- She has not stopped talking about the show yet !!!
Will do! :)
I was at the matinee yesterday afternoon and LOVED it even more. :) Chris Butler asked me if I came back for Audra and I told him honestly that I came the first time for her, but I came back for all of them and the whole experience. I even checked out The Rainmaker this afternoon to read it...and I'm definitely thinking it was just the place where I was in life when I saw it that made me not like it. I was SOOOOO Lizzie then. Still am to a degree...but not as much.
Dollypop, it has already been recorded.
It appears that ticket sales must be going pretty well, as Roundabout pulled its discounts from Broadwaybox, Theatermania and Playbill. Goldstar Events still has it listed though. I'm sure there will be an extension.

I heard rumblings of extending till at least Labor Day
I hope Kazee sounds better on record than he did in the theatre.
The rest of the cast is sublime.
I do question some of the changes made in the score as opposed to the original.
The slowing down of some of the songs, and the choice of EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL HAPPENS AT NIGHT as a few solos and not a choral piece.
Also IS IT REALLY ME as a solo and not a duet, which was OK because I thought Kazee's voice was just abysmal, and his costume was so unflattering.
Sorry Santo, the rest of the design was terrific.
The 110BBX code still works--- for all dates up until 7/15, excluding Sat nites----
Sat in NN a few times --- great sightlines at "54", and for $25 with the discount, cant beat it !!
Yeah...I've sat DD and NN. Loved both. :) 7/15 I'm front mezz AA. EXCITEMENT!! :)
According to ATC, the rumor is an extension till August.
I did like the show with a few exceptions,
but can't the ROUNDABOUT, which just bought the
HENRY MILLER THEATRE afford more than 8 chorus members?
The whole town is gonna be at the picnic!
Oh no I quess just 8 could make it.
And they don't even get Broadway minimum.

However, the poster on ATC did not reveal where they heard that from--- Who knows? That could have come from BWW---
*CAN NOT WAIT*
CurtainPullDowner, I understand your complaint, but the emsemble in 110 can be distracting and almost pull down the show if it's too large. Lonny Price wanted a very intimate feeling with this show (hence the minimalist set) which is why he chose to cut the ensemble down. I think it works well; although small, I found them to be very effective. *SPOILER* in the final scene, being able to see each of them have their moment in the rain was so magical. I felt a connection with each of them that I don't think would have been possible if it had been a larger cast.
