Who else got $13 tickets to "13" this morning?
I'll be at the first preview and the second to last preview.
I was planning to but I overslept...were a lot of people there/what time did you get there?
WBaF, do you think I'd still have a chance of getting those cheap tickets if I get to the box office by 1:20 or were there plenty of people there by the time the box office opened?

So we got there at around 9:30 and as we crossed from the Mariott a few of the cast members were jumping about in the street, waiting for today's rehearsal to start and marveling at the line wrapped around the corner of Eighth Ave.
Some of the producers were videotaping everyone and everything, trailed by assistants with legal releases. My daughter told them she was excited to see teenage roles played by real teenagers, instead of by 20-year-olds. At about 10:30, Jason Robert Brown showed up and was chatting with the crew near the crates stacked on the sidewalk outside the box office.
We figured we were #94 or so on the line, and sure enough at 11am or so we got a pair for $13 each to the Sept. 26 preview. Maybe 10 or 15 people behind us, and they probably all got tix too. But I'm pretty sure that was the end of the special.
Thanks. Glad I didn't run down on my lunch break for nothing.

Where are the seats?
Thanks to my best friend WhizzerMarvin TrinaJasonMendel, I also have a ticket for the first preview. Thank you for waking up early and getting these...if I didn't have work at 9am, I would have gone too. Then I would have run into WannaBeAFoster and we could have caught up! It has been way too long, Foster! Looking forward to seeing you at the first preview! Yay.
I got some nice orch seats. Was glad I stayed for the 2 hours. Can't wait to see it. What a bargain.

I got there around 7:15 and was about thirtieth in line. The whole cast was there and there energy and excitement was definately infectious. It made me even more excited to see the show.
The kids' energy was definitely infectious. They seem very excited to be bringing this show to Broadway.
That one producer with the video camera was CUTE as all heck! Boy oh boy.
As people waited in line, marketing folks for the show walked down the line and handed out 13 THE MUSICAL bracelets, CDs, miniature window cards, and entry slips for a 13 THE MUSICAL prize package.
The seats they were offering were side Orchestra from Row J and back, and side Front Mezzanine.
I got Row K side Orchestra for the first preview, and Row A Front Mezzanine on the left aisle for the second to last preview.
Nice seeing you there, WhizzerMarvinTrinaJasonMendel and bscheid76.
And I'll see you at the first preview, WithoutATrace!
