George Plimpton and Robert Palmer have died.
Meanwhile, Reagan is still alive.....barely.
WOW! What a shocker! Robert Palmer did some amazing things with writing. I guess one of his better known Broadway connections was "Simply Irresistable" from "Contact". But I also liked "Some Guys Have All the Luck" as well as others.
This, comming on the heels of John Ritter. What is with all these guys in their mid 50's dying with heart attacks! A little to close in age for my comfort. Truly a loss for the entertainment world in all cases.

Actually ddtruitt....Herb Garner had a direct connection to the theater with his plays.
So..he wouldn't count.
No if he had written some background music....................

Why would you say REAGAN is still alive...barely.
Are you upset he is not dead?
I am sorry but I knew Reagan when I was a child and he was Govenor of California and it is horribly sad that he is losing his battle with his mind.

So, judging from the title of this thread, I should get rid of any theatrical neckwear lest I die also?

I'm not sad about Reagan at all. I think he left the world a much worse place than he found it. He lost the battle with his mind a long time ago.

While I don't wish RR bad health, I agree with FN that he left the world a worse place.

I don't wish anybody bad health. But, like Morales, after I hear that Reagan has eventually died, I'll feel nothinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng.
No I wasn't wishing our former President any ill will, even thou I don't agree with him politically. But with his health as bad as it is, I'm just suprised that he's lasted this long.
