Been away so long, help us pick some shows for mid November visit
 Oct 23 2024, 05:09:49 PM

Definitely put Oh, Mary! at the top of your list, especially if you like to laugh.

I'd also second Sunset Blvd, Stereophonic, and Water for Elephants.

While it's far from the greatest thing ever on a Broadway stage, i rather enjoyed it for what it is, am very glad i saw it twice, and am a bit sorry to see it close so soon.

Wait to buy if possible, and check the site a few days before the performance date you want to attend.  Often times, anything that's been 'held back' & released or any other unsold inventory will be heavily discounted ---- for example, i scored a row E center orch seat (regu

This kinda bothered me too at first...... but after the show, I realized that this was the same kind of 'awkward' as when a Baby Boomer or Gen X'er tries the same catch phases, gestures and mannerisms as Gen

TBH, I hadn't noticed it being overly warm.  Actually wished it would've been even hotter so that the ice in the sippy cup of the woman sitting behind me would've melted faster. :(

Here we are LP/CD signing at museum of Broadway

Was there too --- this production means too much to me to skip this opportunity. A bit disappointing that the entire cast didn't participate, but still glad i went.

Aren't they getting royalties for being on the recording? Attendees did have to purchase on site, so yes, they would have technically been paid for their time.  Maybe not a huge incentive, but an incentive nonetheless.

I'm happy to support and attend ANYTHING having to do with this show and this cast.... whether complete or in pieces.

was a bit of a cluster on Wednesday --- at first, everyone was gathered at the door toward Broadway and barricade, where the ensemble came out and signed.  Then they broke down the barricade and told everyone to go home, but someone slipped that Nicole was coming out the actual stage door toward 8th, and everybody ran over there.  She came out with Jamie, freshly shower

"Agree 100%. I've never seen a musical so radically reinvented in its staging that it felt like it became brand new. And where the vision of the director made a show that's always felt pretty mid to me allowed it to become one of the most exciting theatrical experiences I've ever had."

This is how I felt about "Cats: the Jellicle Ball".  Wish it would return already, and it's only been a month.&nb

quite a few more 'vague' IG posts and comments from PAC NYC, eluding to not only a 'return' to thier venue, but a Broadway transfer.  Sounds good, but lets announce it already so that I can finalize my plans and you can take my money!

keep your eye on their website, instagram and facebook pages, and the minute that Oh Mary! announces another extension, BUY TICKETS IMMEDIATELY!  Do not, I repeat, do NOT miss it!

Other than that, and what you already have listed, I'd try to see Sunset Blvd and Tammy Faye
