Dayton Ohio just announced their season tonight and boy does it outshine Cincinnati!
Dayton - Joseph, Smokey Joe's Cafe, Billie Elliot, Pirates of Penzance, Nice Work If You Can Get It, Vanya...Spike (in conjuction with Human Race Theatre), Wicked, Peter and the Starcatcher, Book of Morman
What do you think Nagrom 5280? Are you going to Dayton to see a few shows (4 for me) too?

The Dallas / AT&T Performing Arts season came out tonight. Pretty meh, but maybe that's just me.
Phantom of the Opera - Aug. 6-24
Once - Dec. 16-28
Newsies - April 28-May 10
Annie - June 23-July 5
Mowtown - July 21-August 9
Book of Mormon is returning for a non-subscription appearance.
And they've already announced Matilda for 2015-16. I guess it was too much to ask for Kinky Boots, Pippin, Cinderella or something other than Phantom.

San Antonio's is beyond depressing (to me).

Chicago - no/seen it

Annie - ehhh ok
Newsies - ehhh ok
Beauty & the Beast - see it
Blue Man Group - no
Mamma Mia - no/seen it

Posted: 2/18/14 at 12:39amI have to say I too am disappointed about Seattle's upcoming season...nothing worth going to see really. I'm hoping that the 5th Avenue comes out with it's lineup soon and that either Kinky Boots or Newsies is coming. With Seattle's season and Vancouver BC's lineup of Wicked (for the millionth time), BOM, and Flashdance it's going to be a disappointing next season of theatre for me.

Lots of depressing seasons this year. Any word on the Annie tour? It is really going to be a non equity replica of the original and not the revival?

Posted: 2/18/14 at 5:00pm^ That's what everyone has said. I'm not that familiar with the original so it will be interesting to see what they do with it. I actually think San Antonio has a pretty damn good season IMO. I hope Boston has some of the same but also includes Motown and Kinky Boots or Pippin.

Looks like we're getting Dirty Dancing, Newsies, Motown, Kinky Boots, Cinderella, Pippin, The Phantom of the Opera, and Annie. Pretty good season to me!

Nice Work is scheduled for the first two weeks of September as part of Dallas Summer Musicals, followed by another week in Fort Worth as part of Broadway at the Bass.
So, who knows.

I'm actually thrilled that "Chicago" is going to S.A. So far, I've seen the show in: Dallas, Houston, Austin and soon in S.A. Awesome.
