Joan of Arc got snubbed. Really hope to see lots of these shows on Broadway next season (Hadestown, The Band's Visit, Sweet Charity)

A show can't be snubbed if it was universally panned.

A bit surprising to see Sweat not nominated alongside Oslo and Indecent. Very happy to see Underground Railroad Game remembered- that was one of the best things I saw last year.

I am a firm believer in serendipity- all the random pieces coming together in one wonderful moment, when suddenly you see what their purpose was all along.

VERY happy to see Joel Perez nominated for SWEET CHARITY. He was the standout of that production (outside of Sutton).

I'm so overjoyed to see Emily Rohm nominated. She was my favorite part of the show in Chicago and I hope she has continued success.

I found SWEAT a noble play, sincere in its attempt to document a section of America we don't get to see onstage very often, but a bit of a letdown in its execution. The dialogue often veered into sloganeering and some of the performances didn't help: you could see the actors' self-consciousness in their speechifying.

It seems that these days TV is tackling this kind of story so much better. Personally, I hope we have more of this type of subject matter in all our media and arts.

Leading Actress is a Musical nomination is hardly a complete snub. Especially considering the negative reviews the show received all around.

Surprised (but happy!) to see all the praise for Ride the Cyclone, and and hoping Hadestown has a second life after these noms.

SO thrilled for these nominations. Very exciting!

If anything - really hoping this will ensure a new life for Ride The Cyclone. Vying at the chance to see this again!

It's going to Seattle next year! It was announced with the 5th avenues season, I believe.

Thrilled for Maryann Plunkett's nomination. Her work in The Gabriels was stunning. I only wish "Women of a Certain Age" had been nominated for Best Play. Easily one of the greatest works of this century.
