2017 Tony Best Musical- tie??

839 voters

What if there was a tie for best musical between Dear Evan Hansen and Come From Away.

What are  the odds that it could happen this year?

2017 Tony Best Musical- tie??

What ever the odds usually are....pretty slim, but it could happen between any of the shows (except for GD)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

2017 Tony Best Musical- tie??

Anything is possible as the race is tight but per my industry friends Come From Away could take the prize over Dear Evan Hansen! Till Sunday...

The race is extremely close between Dear Evan Hansen and Come From Away.

I wonder if it really is a close race, assuming none of you have any actual insight into voter opinions.

2017 Tony Best Musical- tie??

Does GREAT COMET really stand as little of a chance as y'all are saying? I feel like it could take it all.

People are largely going off of the Times article. Who knows what will happen, but the poll did not appear promising for GC.

It's very possible now that the NY Times poll showed it's a dead heat between DEH and CFA. I'm still going with DEH.

2017 Tony Best Musical- tie??

Please keep in mind that the poll only interviewed about 67 out of 839 voters, so that's really not a great barometer. In 2013, the poll stated that Tom Hanks and Laura Osnes were out front in their respective categories, and we all saw what happened on Tony night.
