3/31 evening performance of Wicked - curtain drop in Act 2

Hello. We attended the 3/31 evening performance of Wicked and were surprised at a very awkward and long pause at the beginning of the second scene in Act 2 (where Nessa is rolled onto the stage which contains the mirrored closet.) There was silence for over a minute, and eventually the theater dropped the curtain, announcing an apology for the delay and stating that the show would resume momentarily. It did, and everything seemed to go smoothly afterwards.

However, we are curious as to what caused the delay. Does anyone know?

Most likely if it was only a momentary pause after the curtain went down, then it wasn't a technical problem.

Ofeh suspected Andy of cheating on her with Mandy Gonzalez and forced her way onstage.

She had to be subdued by Gershwin security, who are more used to dealing with rabid fangirls than jilted lovers.
