Just seeing this on the news now and posting here since there's tons of street closures around the area now.
Apparently someone tried to explode something in the subway station, they have him in custody. The area looks shut down now on TV. Thankfully it appears it didn't hurt anyone but the guy who did it.

It seems nobody was hurt thankfully and it was a suicide bomber.

9th & 8th Avenues from 36th street up to 48th street are currently closed. Commuting around this area is nearly impossible, even on foot.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

9th is ok on foot. I just walked it from my apartment on 29th to my office on 38th (got into work about 30 minutes ago). Traffic was barely moving, but the sidewalks were still ok.

I'm hearing 3 others injured beside the bomber - none life threatening.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
