6 Degrees of you and a broadway star

#06 Degrees of you and a broadway star

I love playing 6 degress of Kevin Bacon (haha yes), and I was thinking about 6 degrees of a broadway star.
Ok, I'll start:

Michael Cerveris an uncle to a kid in my school that I know.

A family friend went to the same doctor as Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Seriously, it's a lot of fun.....

You know, a lot of people on this board really need only 1 or even 0 degrees to get to a Broadway star, but they're not going to be the ones that are responding.

Lol, you're right about those people being on this board. This thread may turn into a confessional

"I am ........."

NOT

But I'll stick around anyway

My grandparents' neighbors were both had careers on Broadway. They weren't stars, but they understudied stars and knew stars. It's kind of cool, I guess.

One of my best friends uncles is a film director. This year his film made it to Sundance Film Festival and in his movie was Michelle Federer. My friend spoke with her and Michelle wound up taking me and her backstage at Wicked for my birthday.
Also, Michael Cerveris was recently at a filming of this same movie and approached my friends uncle. He apparently told them that they can stop by whenever and get in touch to arrange a backstage visit. Upon hearing this I told them I may just be the one to show her to the stagedoor....for a price :).

Yeah shes quite funny. She also has an obscure humor and is very bluntly comedic. A lot of people mistook her for a biotch, but shes quite kind and I enjoyed spending time with her. She had a lot of stories to tell. I hope the Michael thing works out, he as well is awesome and would love to see backstage at the Eugene O'Neill

One of my friends at school's aunt is Daphne Rubin-Vega.

Also my dads best friend works for Fidelity and I got to see Sweeney Todd for free and get a backstage tour led by Patti Lupone.

Norbert Leo Butz lives two towns away from me.

I thought I saw him driving down a street near my house while I was walking my dog but I doubt it.

I think that what some are trying to say (and I agree) is that this thread really is nothing more than a place to name-drop, which many people on this board, myself included, find tacky.
