what's your problem?
It just happens to star Rita Moreno, the Tony Award winning actress who has appeared on the Broadway stage in many productions from 'Last Of The Red Hot Lovers' to the female version of 'The Odd Couple'.
She won the Tony for the 1975 Broadway production of 'The Ritz'
Idiot!
Not interested then just ignore it!!!

This relates to an upcoming Broadway show, and it's an interesting tidbit I had no idea about...thanks Mama!

Given the threads on the board at the moment, I find it very hard to complain about this thread.
Thanks guys for the last two posts there- its normally the ones who try to be clever and say what's the point of this thread and that thread that actually have nothing to say themselves so they just try to me smart arses.
...and then I look closer at the ones who reply!!!! Say no more!

Oh i never knew this was a TV series
The full 82 episodes never made to U.K T.V, just the first two series!
Jean Marsh who created and starred in the TV mega-series 'Upstairs, Downstairs' in the 70s with Eileen Atkins, played Roz in the series.

oh i must hunt them down
They've never been put on DVD or VHS but maybe they'll get dug up next year when interest in the show and movie heat up!
I remember the few I saw on TV as being not be that funny.

Well, I LOVED the series and Jean Marsh was amazing--I also fell for her in RETURN TO OZ.
This series, PRIVATE BENJAMIN, FILTHY RICH and IT'S A LIVING were some of faves at the same-ish time...
I don't remember the second incarnation in 1986 but I do remember the first in 82.
I used to love It's a Living... It was so much fun. Ann Jillian was in it.
They should start a cable channel of all the old sitcoms-- just the sitcoms. I think it would be a hoot.
I've read about this before. It had an interesting run, as it first was on ABC and then reappeared in syndication years after it was canceled. I saw the opening credit video of it sometime ago, though I can't recall what site it was on.
Jean Marsh last appeared on the West End stage as Bertha in revival of 'Boeing Boeing' that is now a smash hit on Broadway. She's a popular actress and who knows maybe she 'll be on Broadway in that very same role!
