Hello everyone! I’m looking for some help. It looks like from Sunday Nov 10th - Saturday Nov 16th there are 9 performances of & JULIET. My question is, does that mean one of these shows will be very understudy heavy as 8 shows a week is the norm? I have friends in town just on Sunday Nov 10th and was going to take them to the show. The 6:30pm show would be easier for me as the 1:00pm show would require a lot of moving things around for me. I’m just afraid that the added 6:30pm show on Sunday 11/10 will be very understudy heavy. Is there anyway to find out ahead of time if Alison Luff will be in as Anne or Liam Pearce will be in as Romeo? Also, they would probably get a kick out of Charli D’Amelio being in the ensemble as well. Would she be in? Would the box office know? Should I message these actors on IG haha jkjk. Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I'm not sure if any of those performers have a tendency to post ahead about days they'll be out, but it could be that they're all intending to be in. Of course, a 9 show week can be difficult so sometimes they may find they don't have the capability to make it all the way through or get sick etc. I'm assuming though that since your friends will be there near the beginning of the week, that's probably the "safest" time to see the show without understudies, but this is just a guess on my part.

The week before they only have 7 performances, so it balances out. (By my quick count) And while 9 perfs in a week is rough, it often happens Christmas week to New Years and doesn't have huge uptick in understudies.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
Also, even if there were a lot of understudies (which I don't think there will be for reasons mentioned), it wouldn't be like there would be one understudy performance where all the regulars are out. It would be spread out.
