It was excellent. Megan Hilty sang "Backwoods Barbie," Marc Kudisch sang "Here For You" and then the three women sang "I Just Might." Everyone sounded fantastic. Then they all signed CDs and were so gracious to the large crowd that showed up this afternoon. I'm glad I was able to get out of work early to attend this event. Putting the cast recording on my iPod right now...can't wait to hear it!
Edit: One complaint. The cast recording is in that horrendous cardboard packaging...I would think that Dolly Records would put this CD in a jewel case, but oh well...such is life. I hope the quality of the recording is better than the packaging.

I think that the cardboard case to me expected. Reading the page "Go Green with 9 to 5" made me realize that it might be cardboard. I love jewel cases, though but hopefully this is just as good.

Sorry, I'm obsessed. Lyric booklet??
By the way, I like the cardboard cases better than the jewel cases. They don't crack or break (I've cracked nearly every jewel case I own), they're flatter and easier to store, and they help the environment. Wish I could go to the signing. Oh well, I got my Playbill signed last week, so that's good enough for me.

kchenofan's computer is broken right now. This is her fridge. Now, you can leave a message, but say it slowly, so I can write it on a post-it note and stick it to myself.

So they just signed right on the cardboard?

I had a great time too. All 4 of them were so nice and gracious. Can you post links to pics? I took video with my camcorder only to find out my camcorder is broken and it erased everything I taped

FWIW, that "book signing or something at 7:30" was completely full to the point that they were giving out wristbands to those who bought the book. Just a bit of random info that there ARE arts beyond theatre that people care about. :)
