^^ Yeah, I'm wondering whether that means literally dirty or, y'know, DIRTY.
Also, to this:
""Backwards Barbie"... I don't know why I pictured her singing this song to herself but she is actually singing this song to Judy which leads to the the only time I truly felt bad for Doralee."
Yes! I was surprised to find out she's singing it to Judy; I figured this might be at the point when she's sitting at the table by herself in the lunchroom, or at her desk after she invites Judy to lunch and is turned down.
And I'm really happy to hear they've added a bridge in "Get Out and Stay Out," which seemed too repetitive without that break (might still be, but I'm sure it's an improvement).
Great review Popular. Pretty much along the lines as to what I felt towards the show. After 'Backwoods Barbie' is where the show picked up for me. I thought Megan was amazing! She would have to be my favorite. Although, a surprise favorite was Kathy Fitzgerald. Given the nature of her character you're forced not to like her, but once her number '5 to 9' came around, a love/hate relationship ensued!
Great production! It definitely has the potential to be a hit. I don't know if anyone else felt the same, but did you feel like you were at a taping of a 70's sitcom? Maybe it was because it was the first night and everyone was enthusiastic.
I'm still bitter my threads/post got deleted! hehe jk
Just read the additions to your review, Pop. I can't wait to see this next year! Glad to hear Stephanie has some power notes. Thanks for the review, as always.
The Overture is part of the show, people. Please shut your pie hole.
