A Lesson For WICKED Fans

I wrote this in detention today. (I got detention because my cell phone rang in class)

It is pathetic, I know. But what more can i do?

All the shows that should be up there
But theatre is going nowhere
Is WICKED that well-written?
Don't make me glare!

People overrate, please!
Teen girls tend to overrate!
It's not about great music
WICKED's will make you sick
So it's very slick to see
Other shows exist
And, no I do not mean MILLIE!

yeah ok but...you aren't teaching us a "lesson" . we see what wicked is and love it. we aren't "wrong" for doing so.

Look, you all get so uptight.
It is a joke. A parody.

I don't think Kristin's voice is (that) shrill.
I don't think all of Wicked's music will "make you sick"
I certainly don't think that you are wrong for liking Wicked in the slightest.

For some strange reason I thought some of the Wicked fans might be able to laugh at themselves.

I am certainly able to laugh at myself.
I mean, Forbidden's Broadway's 'Sondheim's blues' and 'Into the Words' are two parodies I find hillarious, and they bash my idol, Stephen Sondheim.

And as for knowing 'Popular' so well, I think it is one helluva good song.

Truly a lovely gesture, dear. Now, not that I want to squelch any further creative forays on your part, but, lest you risk becoming a juvenile delinquent -- aside from anything else, I fear that the wardrobe options of juvie hall just wouldn't show you off to best advantage -- please remember to keep that damn thing on vibrate from now on while in class. In addition to keeping you out of trouble, "vibrate" has been known to be able to put a smile on the face of many a sophomore boy and girl at all sorts of unexpected times

#1Elphie: I am sorry that you take a set of lyrics meant in good fun written by a complete stranger so personally.

But, still, you need to not worry about it. Goodness.

I have heard that Patti LuPone sang her Forbidden Broadway spoof, "I Get A Kick Out of Me," at a party one time, even thought it is very insulting to her. But she realizes that it is always in good fun.

Great song Priest!...I guess it is a little off topic but: my cell phone, vibrates so loudly people across the rrom can hear it...is this normal-people call me all the time during class, sometimes people on the opposite coast and just sometimes adults who forget I am in school but is this normal? Vibrate is as silent as my phone gets-does anyone else have this cell phone vibrate issue in class?
side note: I love the Wicked parodies, keep 'em coming!
