Are you actually suggesting that non-African Americans should show up to your audition? REALLY?
That would be insulting to the play as well as paint the auditioner as ignorant.

So, a color-blind "Raisin in the Sun" would be insulting? Is all color-blind casting insulting, or just in this case?
P.S. I'd never show up for an audition of this show ...

Posted: 1/26/13 at 2:39pm@drama that would definitely be a yes. There is a non "African-American" role in this play. My post was regarding all aspects not just of color and NOT of just this show.Because the post I replied to was very general. And one should research and ask questions when looking to audition to see if it indeed would make sense and be a goid fit . Just promoting love and positivity. Thank you.
