My Brother In Law met Tom Cruise the other day @ ABC TV

He told Cruise he was seeing Valkyrie today to which Cruise said: Jews always go to see movies @ Christmas about Nazi's

Since Katie Holmes (his wife)was in a show this qualifies.

wow..Blaxx....wow........

Anyway, I actually always try and defend Tom Cruise as he really is targeted by the media, but that just sounds....stupid. Did he mean it as a joke...if so, it's certainly a poor one. If not, what a jerk.

Actually a few weeks ago I walked past the Scientology center and peaked in -

just wow.......

"Jews always go to see movies @ Christmas about Nazi's."

If this is an actual quote I find it offensive. But it actually sounds like a snippet of a conversation from the producer's meeting about when to FINALLY release this film.

PEACE.

Well, I guess this confirms that Tom Cruise IS actually the asshole I've always thought him to be.

I'm not one who thinks Tom Cruise is very bright but I doubt he said that.

WRONG.

This has nothing to do with Katie or her show.

I can't believe you have been here THIS LONG and think this is On Topic.

...how exactly is that offensive?

Guess my "outrage" setting is unnaturally high but I don't get what's offensive either. I can't stand Tommy but seems like a "regular guy" moment to me.

I'll just use any excuse to call him an *sshole.

I am not Jewish myself, but I can tell you why this is offensive.

It's always offensive to be told that everyone in your ethnic group thinks the same way, acts the same way, likes the same things, etc. To be told this by someone who doesn't belong to your group is especially offensive.

Like Mel Gibson being drunk and screaming about the Jews?
