Posted: 1/6/07 at 5:12pmMaybe they didn't want to have another "Betty saves the day" episode again, and wanted to show some progression in the character, such as the move to the new mag. I'm guessing they didn't want to waste the episode, and instead edit to have sort of an "intro" episode to people tuning into new episodes to shorthand the dynamics of the relationships on the show before we move into the next phase of the show.

Rebecca Romijn joins the cast in a couple of weeks, and things should be interesting very soon.
BTW, did anyone catch Michael Urie on The View this past Thursday? He looked really nervous, but he scored a home run! Bravo to him!

I think he tripped up a bit on trying to find the word for "the boys" suitable for daytime, "manhoods" came out, and they just ran with it.
I believe he said it happened whilst filming a scene which he was wearing a dress. He made a big deal about asking for underwear to use under the dress that matched, no nothing was exposed. They could only find a pair of boxers. Cut to the scene, where he sits on the couch with the one who plays Amanda. He pulls her closer to look at the dress, she looks down, and sees the aforementioned "manhood", or "one of them".
btw, good for him getting a spot on The View when technically, he's still listed as a Guest Star.

I started to watch tonight's episode that I taped and it did the "previously on Ugly Betty" part and they showed a clip of Rebecca Romijn which I had never seen before. Did I miss an episode? I've seen all the episodes that the episode player on ABC.com lists, so I'm not sure what's going on. Does anyone know?
