Lord, do I love me some MOON RIVER!
There you go CastAlbumFan.
Any quick guesses on the last 3? I'm pretty sure RAINBOW will be #1 plus YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT should be there, too.
Ahhh, "Moon River" is #4. I'm VERY satisfied!
You guys are so cool. This is as much fun as the night I joined the chat group - the Tonys.
I'm still waiting for "Pretty Woman" and "In Your Eyes".
"Singing in the Rain" I am so happy!
AS TIME GOES BY. Perfection.
Hasn't been announced yet, but I'll just give it away now. "Over The Rainbow" is #1.
Duh. =)

Doesn't "Blame Canada" even get honorable mention???? The Muppets got a nod!

I'm surprised "Baby, It's Cold Outside" wasn't on the list.
Where is judy_in_disguise?
Off crying tears of joy, I suppose.
Bliss!
Off Topic, but can I just say - HOW CUTE IS BAZ????
Ah, the chills I get listening to Over the Rainbow... Excellent choice for #1.
A wonderful program...
Anyone know if they're gonna repeat the program?

It was so funny! It was like Judy, Barbara, Judy, Barbara all night. I am happy Moon River got #4! YAY!
Does anyone else find it amusing that The Cell Block Tango from Chicago was in the commercials for the show and then didn't make it onto the list? It amused me...
There were a few that I thought were missing, but all-in-all a good list.
What the hell though!? Giving Audrey Hepburn credit for singing in My Fair Lady!? Moon River in Breakfast At Tiffany's, yes (and that is a great part in that film), but she did not sing in MFL, nor should she be given credit. I like how Hugh basically admitted he's gay by saying that he would love to sing "I Could Have Danced All Night." lol Perhaps he would like the tiara and white gown to match.
I love that Bette Midler and Barbra Streisand participated in the commentary, but where was Liza?
Too much Lorna, not enough Liza.

I missed the first segment - was "Putting On The Ritz" the Clark Gable version form Ididot's Delight, or the Gene Wilder/Peter Boyle version from Young Frankenstein?
Too funny TheaterBaby. I was thinking OMG Rod (from Ave. Q)
is gonna be sooo happy!

Below is a link to AFI's website which lists the 400 songs that were considered for the top 100.
Shame on AFI for not listing anything from "The Jazz Singer" in the top 100. It was the first movie musical. Hell, it was the first movie with sound.

Judy was called the "world's greatest entertainer".
