I saw the original 2011 production at the London Palladium with Michael Crawford and Hannah Waddingham, and I have to say I wasn't expecting this.
While I’m not big on what ALW ‘added’ to his revision of Oz, I’m a big Wizard of Oz fan and am usually excited for any live production. This seems to be a transfer of the Leicester Curve production, and I am NOT a fan of their set or costume design. The original 2011 production at the Palladium at least had some polish and spectacle.

Wow. Does no one appreciate that with the addition of Red Shoes Blues and the Bacchanalia the story is NOW a masterpiece

Hannah Waddingham's broom flight was fun.

I thought "Bring Me the Broomstick" and "Red Shoes Blues/Bacchanalia" were the best songs in the show.
