From today’s briefing: Anastasia has recouped its production costs, according to a press rep. The recoupment comes after the show played for two years on Broadway, launched a US tour, and staged productions in Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Japan. The Japanese production is scheduled to return in 2023 with other international productions in development.

Question… do royalties from school productions apply towards this?

Have there been any school/regional/amateur licensed productions of Anastasia yet? See the thread from yesterday about licensing, but yes the investors will see some profit from licensing.

School, for sure, as I have seen some and judged for high school musical theatre awards. Just not sure if there have been any professional/regional/community/amateur especially with the current tour running.

Hasn't made it to the regional level yet since the non-union tour is still going on.
