Will Stacks "Why you runnin'?"
Annie "It gets me places quicker."
CLASSIC WRITING!
And the trailer for Jersey Boys, which comes out much early, would be where....?
I see a whole bunch of Razzie Awards next March.

I think Wallis is a much better actress than Aileen Quinn, but I'm already going to busy that weekend seeing the third 'Hobbit' film and it still does not look promising at all.

That's 3 movie musicals due out next holiday season?

I see a whole bunch of "Black Reel Awards" too, to keep the separation in tact.
Makes me wonder, is there a special "Black Razzy Award" too? Or is it better to look at people and performances in this case?
The title of the song is "It's THE Hard Knock Life" - presuming the original "Annie" creatives are jumping on this right away.

Jersey Boys is summer...
So Annie is now a gymnast?
Btw, I didn't hate the teaser clip.
I'm reserving judgement until I see more, but either way it's The Hobbit for me that weekend too.

VERY surprised. I don't hate the teaser poster, and I'm kinda looking forward to the trailer. If they manage to keep most of the songs/story in tact, I might be able to enjoy this. However, still extremely iffy. The whole cast is just a no.
I'll be napping that weekend

I think the teaser looked good.

The clips make this look like a disaster of straight-to-VHS (not even DVD) proportions.
As someone who doesn't care about the original...this doesn't look that bad to me. I'm sure I'll take my sister to see it.
I will still go see it because i love a good train-wreck!
I have to admit, there is a lot about that trailer that I liked. There was also a lot that looked awful (namely the dialogue snippets).
I like that they seem to be addressing the shameless publicity of Warbucks/Stacks that leads him to meet Annie in the first place more in this version, and the clip at the end reminded me of "Sign" from the 1982 movie which was the only part I liked about that version.
On the other hand it seems they have more outrageously acrobatic orphan coreography, which was one of the most annoying things about the 1982 version for me, and the dialogue snippets seem very unnatural.
With all that said, it isn't hard to put out a great trailer for a bad movie (or a terrible one for a great movie for that matter).
