I hate this thread! Why the heck did you even start it with no confirmed source? I hate when people think they know it all and have to post here first about it just to get attention.

Wait for the official word... If it hasn't been mentioned yet, there is a REASON. I doubt they wanted you to give everyone the news.

oh hey now Mary Testa as Hannigan! I would so be there. Kristin Chenoweth was actually not half bad as Lily on tv version a while back

I was on tour with Martin Charnin's Annie almost 10 years ago.
Annie has a much storied history of casting debacles involving young girls being cast and fired for multitudes of reasons. With the amount of reasons that Martin has used to hire and fire little Girls over the years, I find it highly improbable that he would cast someone in his "Event"(wink wink to fellow survivors)a full year before the show opens.

Annie people are a tight knit group, many of my friends are still associated directly with the Authorized Martin Charnin directed version of this show. None of them have said anything about this. The poster that said that it would be unlike Martin to be quiet about this was spot on.
Martin Charnin eats, sleeps, and breathes Annie. As long as he is alive he will be the one who puts Annie back on Broadway. If there was a revival happening, and any casting happening at all, you would know, and I would have known months ago.
This information is wrong.

Other than that, did you enjoy the play Mrs Lincoln?

They have cast the Annie now, for a production next year? She will be too old and tall. How silly whoever this girl in your home is , And how sill you are for believing this.

"With the amount of reasons that Martin has used to hire and fire little Girls over the years"

So Martin Charnin will be playing Miss Hannigan in this revival?

This just in: Charnin has cast a promising young embryo in the 2018 Broadway revival!

This is the funniest post that's been on here in a while. Some of you are incredibly gullible.

what I found out so far is that the US tour is going to go to Asia in June of 2009.

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree.

I just heard that due to discriminatory practices in the past, two of the orphans will have to be boys.
