"question - i'd love to get some signed headshots from some of my favorite performers...how do you go about doing that? just write them a letter asking for it? seems slightly...i don't know."

I usually tell them how much I enjoy their performances, what they have done in their career, and thank them if I have met them at the stage door before. At the end I usually put a P.S. and ask if they could send me a signed picture if they have time.

Including a SASE big enough for a picture to fit in is usually a good idea too

WOW you guys have HUGE collections of autographs! *jealous* When you send a letter asking them for a picture do you have to include a picture? or will they give you a headshot?

Also. How do you find their address if they are not currently in a show? thanks, much appreciated.

Susan Egan (from a concert she gave at Disney)

Diana Kaarina (at a meet and greet thingy when the tour of Les Miz came to Orlando)

Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris.

The cast of Doubt and Diana Kaarina were very sweet and gracious. The others I have were given to me from friends, but I'm sure they were lovely as well.


Although it isn't mine, I have a dear friend who has (can you believe this?!!) two original paintings done by Tennessee Williams, which are also signed by him. Not many ppl know he was a painter.
