Posted: 9/8/09 at 6:43pmI finally managed to see this show the past weekend for one of Dean's last shows (I somehow missed seeing it at Second Stage - my biggest regret of the year) and I thought he was amazing - definitely not phoning it in.
If people have split views about your work, I think it's flattering. I'd rather have them feel something about it than dismiss it.

Yes, I saw his "performance" in both A Chorus Line and the disastrous Guys and Dolls revival.
