Posted: 12/26/09 at 6:17pmWow. I had no idea he went to Ithaca. They seem to keep pumping out talented kids all the time!

Posted: 12/26/09 at 6:27pmThere's a picture of him in the January issue of Vogue with model, Raquel Zimmerman. They give a little mention of "Catch Me..." also.

Posted: 12/26/09 at 6:37pmInteresting that Catch Me is heading to Toronto. I hope they do some major work with it before/if it comes to Broadway. I was not impressed with what I've seen.

"He's playing gay in his next film-hopefully there's a guy/guy smooch. Id love it!"
Not only is he playing gay, he's playing gay opposite of James Franco. If there isn't any physical intimacy, well... what a waste.

The movie in question is HOWL. James Franco plays beat poet Allen Ginsberg, and Aaron Tveit plays his friend (and poet) Peter Orlovsky. The movie is playing at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival.

I was going to start a new thread since the site's search engine lacked finding a proper Tveit thread (how thats possible with so many I don't know. But with the help of google, I found this, which is similar to what I'm posting.
Not exactly an article, it's just a paparazzi shot of Aaron in LA last night.. They don't even mention Jeanine Mason, just Aaron :
"Gossip Girl Star Aaron Tveit shopped around Los Angeles with a mysterious brunette last night. If you like what you see with Aaron, stay tuned because he has a movie coming out ("Howl") with James Franco and Mary-Louise Parker."
I'm going to assume this is just the beginning of his trail to fame.

"Wow. I had no idea he went to Ithaca. They seem to keep pumping out talented kids all the time!"
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy in a way. If your program can manage to get one recent graduate into a high profile role then suddenly all the young high schoolers want to go there hoping to follow in that new star's footsteps, thus giving you a bigger talent pool to draw from, thus producing more talented graduates, and starting the cycle again.
I have been working with Ithaca students for a long time and they do indeed seem to have a very good training program.

AEA AGA SM, what do you know about Ithaca's communication program? Or are you just knowledgeable in their theater program?
Ithaca , Emerson & Syracuse are the East Coast schools I'm considering :)
re: Aaron Tveit article#14
Posted: 1/20/10 at 1:03pmIt's so odd to think that he has paparazzi chasing him now.

re: Aaron Tveit article#16
Posted: 1/20/10 at 11:09pmSorry, FeelingElectric, I don't know much about their communications program at Ithaca. I actually don't know much about how their theatre department is run, just that I've been impressed by their graduates that I have worked with.
