Most of Staten Island is a 90 minute to 2 hour commute especially during rush hour traffic.

Eric Sciotto also from Something Rotten, takes the bus from New Jersey. I always see his tweets to NJ transit about issues. It must take a good hour or so each way. I guess this may add to why a lot of people don't do the stage door, as they have a bus/train to catch and a long journey.

One established Broadway regular is looking for a home out here in Ronkonkoma for the rural community and the excellent school district. It would be a 75 minute commute each way on the LIRR
