This shall be a case of multiple-post excitement.
Hooray!
I heard like a week ago that it was happening at some point, but I'm glad to know it's relatively soon!

This is really exciting...isn't this the show that Tracie is on too? I have never watched it, but my parents love it.
Right, this is Tracie's show. She's part of a team that investigates old unsolved murders.

Cold Case is a great show with a wonderful ensemble cast. I actually don't particularly like Tracie's character on the show. The character who she replaced was better, in my opinion. Hopefully, with time, her character will be a better fit with the rest of the cast than she is now.

I love Adam, I really do, but someone has to say it: will he be acting in this show?
Adam has proven he can act as far as I'm concerned.

He's gonna be fiiiiine.
I think Tracie is solving his case. Or something.

I will agree that Adam has shown us he can act on stage, but on camera is a different story...
Ok, I won't bash anymore. Yay Adam!
I don't want to see him get shot.

The character who is the victim each week has a much smaller part than anyone else so it's unlikely that you'll have much of a problem with his acting.
Yay for Adam!
I think Adam has shown he can act on screen as well, and I'm hardly cheered by the thought that his part may be small, thankyouverymuch.

I'll have to talk Ivan into watching this now. He thinks all those crime shows are boring.

Oh wow that's so exciting.
Well, great and sad news. Great to see him on the show. Sad, like Em said, to watch him murdered

I'm addicted to crime shows. Combining crime shows with Adam is kind of like my definition of heaven.
As for the victim-has-a-small-part thing...I don't think that's particularly true of Cold Case. On other shows like Law and Order, the victim is usually only in the first scene and we see them get killed, but Cold Case is filled with flashbacks.
And I mean...he's playing a singer, so we'd better hear him sing? Or I will cry. A lot.

downtowndiva, I said the victim "has a much smaller part than anyone else" which is true. Flashbacks or not, the victim is seen far less than the ensemble cast and the other suspects. I've watched this show since it began so I can say that with a fair degree of certainty. :)
Yay! And I bet he'll be a lovely corpse (like Anthony in L&O). Singing Adam, lovely Tracie...how can it get any better?

erin, I wasn't arguing with you, it just seemed that some of the people who responded thought he had like a REALLY tiny part. I wanted to make sure people didn't just think he got shot and then that's it. It's a way better gig to be a victim on Cold Case than SVU.
I too am a Cold Case addict.
Ahhh I'm so excited!
