Horrible writing. It's like watching Murder She Wrote.

Yeah, the writing is cheesy...I've only seen the last 15 minutes. Is that the revival version of the songs? They sound awful.

You mean the background music? Yeah, they were playing the OBCR with Alan Cumming and Natasha Richardson, as far as I could tell.

Natasha isn't sounding too great. Forgive me, I've never heard that recording...

Well at least we got to hear Adam sing...

It was the revival recording. Natasha is (rightfully so for the character) not a great singer.
Adam! SO GOOD!!!

Who was singing "Cabaret" at the very end (I haven't seen Cabaret, was it Natasha Richardson?) It didn't sound too good. Otherwise, the show was decent. The writing was horrible, but Adam was adorable. So was Tracie.
-Was that a fart?
-My fault, I fear.

That was Natasha. I love her.
I love Adam, too! He was very, very good.

I often watch Cold Case and generally the stories and writing are much stronger than this particular episode was. THey really overdid with the theatrical lifestyle

Hee. Glad I'm not the only person that thought that about the writing; I even used the word "cheese" to describe it earlier. When the guy stands up in the interrogation room and starts saying the lines...wow.
Just wondering, does it make me a complete snob for thinking that it looked like a really crappy production?
Anyway, yay for Adam! He did really well! And it was really cute to see Tracie singing Cabaret.

I agree, skittles, on all counts. It did look like a crappy production. I especially didn't like Sally or the Emcee's costumes. Yich.

It's a shame Adam and Tracie couldn't have any scenes together.

Seeing Adam die was very, very sad. However, I am now a fan where I wasn't really before. His smile is to die for.

Yeah, yeah the writing was a cheese-fest, however I thought Adam did a very, very good job with the material that he was given.
His character's audition (Dennis was it?) was adorable.
Outside of the Rent movie, this was my first time seeing Adam act in film/TV.
Regardless of what anyone thinks of his acting chops, that man has a face made for TV. He was gorgeous.

COLD CASE is usually an interesting, solidly written show. Not tonight! However, Adam Pascal and Laura Bell Bundy were both terrific and managed to rise above their cliche ridden material.

who in their right mind would cast Adam as Clif? Clif doesn’t even moon the audience...

Adam was such a mess...sorry, I completely lost all respect for him tonight. You could tell he and LBB were stage actors...overdoing it much?
And I missed Tracie singing Cabaret! Video anyone? PM me!
