You lost all respect because of a one-time television role? He didn't even play a bad person.
I thought he was sooo good and so cute!! I loved his character too, and the end when they showed his fiance the program was so sad!!! I was near tears when they showed him all glowy watching :'( I thought he did a great job though- plus Adam = SO handsome! I loved Tracie's line "What's your problem with musicals?" I thought it was so cute. I am easily amused though, so... Anyway I thought it was great! (The only way it would have been better was if they didn't kill him )
May be harsh, but after seeing him in RENT, most of it was gone.
Wait, does the emcee moon the audience?
And i thought Adam was amazing.
Um, if THAT made you lose all respect for him, you clearly didn't have much to begin with, so what's the point?
Rose Sayer, I've never seen the show before, but I'd have to agree with your assessment of the actors.
That was thoroughly enjoyable, though maybe not in the way it was intended.
I liked the combover on Evil Sound Guy the most.
You're right...I didn't have much for him before I saw it.

At the very end of Act 1, the Emcee moons the audience
I should edit that...in the 1998 revival version, yes, the Emcee moons the audience at the end of Act 1. I can't speak for any other incarnations or previous revivals of the show...

Why, why couldn't I have seen Adam as the emcee? Life isnt fair...
In retrospect, that was one of the most awkward moments of my life.

I thought he did really good on tonights episode. Does anyone else like his hair better darker?
Adam's acting was the best I've seen him do, and I LOVE him.
I have seen stronger episodes on Cold Case; but I've seen worse too, which is I why I seldom watch this show. They are often cheesy and have nothing of the straightforwardness of the A&E original. Too dreamy, and Lilly's hair begs for a stylist like she begs for credibility, IMO.
Anyway, Adam haters aside, he did far better than many thought he could do, and in light of the material...that's really saying a lot.

I don't see myself watching any other episodes of Cold Case, but I really enjoyed watching Adam. He did a great job.
I am a big fan of Cold Case, and enjoyed Adam's performance. I love the photo op that him and Traci did on the Cold Case website!
Where are these pictures?

He did a wonderful job! And I get to see him tonight in concert!!!!
Personally, I loved his performance. His nervousness and naiveté at the prospect of the show was like watching him audition for Rent. He was just so...he seemed much younger than he was.
And when he faded away at the end...I cried. (Granted, I've seen Stand By Me a bazillion times and always cry when Chris disappears, so maybe there's something with me and disappearing, but anyway)
He did better than I thought he would, which sounds mean when I think about it, but there's no other way for me to express it. He made me proud.
I'm just about to watch it again. I'm too tired to do work, but I don't want to nap, so I might as well.
aaand, I managed to bum a ride to his concert in Jersey tomorrow.

I'm a semi-regular viewer of Cold Case. I didn't watch last night's episode yet, other than a few seconds here and there when I flipped over during a commercial break on the other show I was watching. Oh my GOD, I think it was the worst writing I've ever seen on that show! I actually laughed out loud a couple of times, just because it was so bad. I'm a little disappointed.

I have never liked him until I saw him in "Cold Case" last night. He was very good.
I thought it was a really good episode. He was in much more scenes than I had anticipated. I thought it was really interesting too. I tuned in to watch Adam, but I really wanted to know who killed him in the end.
wow... I guess this thread only attracted hardcore Pascal fans, uh?
I thought it was really bad... probably the worst episode I have seen so far and I'm sorry but Adam's singing was even worse than his acting! I loved how he was supposed to be bad at the beginning of his audition and then all of a sudden be great... it was so embarassing... the only difference was that he was singing TOTALLY off key at the beginning and then just badly...
I kinda feel bad for Adam and Laura that they actually recruited them to play amateurs and that they were so good in that part of the deal...

Sigh, I'm so just going to resist the urge to get into a debate about Adam's acting. I would like to think I am not some blind fangirl who thinks everything he has ever done is the most fantastic piece of art I've ever seen. That being said, I REALLY liked this episode.
Yes, "Cold Case" is cheesy--it is my guilty pleasure show. I adore crime shows, and this one is certainly a lot more campy than your "Law and Orders" and what have you, but there is something sort of charming about CC that I don't get with the other shows.
I can't really believe that there are people who believe Adam's a bad singer, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. *shrugs*
orangeskittles: I agree with you on the fact that the production looked cheesy. However, keep in mind that it was a community theater production directed by a now B director that thought we was still on the top. So he would have done anything to make a comeback including over the top production numbers and cheesy costumes
Other than that i loved it. My parents watch it but I've only seen one other episode and that was the one with the Rocky Horror Picture show and that too was cheesy
This is a little bit random..but I was thinking that "Maybe this Time" would've been a better title for the episode over "Willkommen" because it was a not finished case.. so like maybe this time they'd solve it?
