Half way through the run or dress rehearsals??? Please tell me it's option b!
And who knows, maybe because it's years later at Coney Island, they could have the Phantom turn into a stoner and challenge that asian guy to the hot dog eating contest!
I once heard someone describe her (Ruthie Henshall) singing as sounding as though she's trying to swallow a whole meatball slightly larger than her windpipe. Actually, it was better than I expected. I think the acting is more of a problem than the vocals.

Demanding? The Phantom has, I THINK, less than 15 minutes of actual stage time. He only really sings one song.

Although he is not actually on stage too much (it's more than 15 minutes, but not over 30 minutes), what he does sing is rather demanding...especially the Music of the Night and the final scene.
The doubles are only utilized for the beginning of the title song and for the gun shot scene.
How to properly use its/it's:
Its is the possessive. It's is the contraction for it is...

I wanted to play the Phantom terribly
I have a feeling that he'd get his wish-- if he got the role of the Phantom, he WOULD play it 'terribly.'
