What, the Daddy Complex or the Orin bit? :)
Orin's a cooler part than Seymour any day. Way too much fun to play!

haha, Orin? Really? Maybe...
As for Billy, I think he'd do a good job. He can DEFINITELY hold out that note. I almost died when he held out the last note in Fortune for so long. And the dancing... there's that one break that's REAL tap-dancing. That's the only thing I'm not sure he could do, but it can be modified.

I don't think he's too young for Billy at all. Chris Sieber is only a year older than Adam, and he plays Billy.
I think a young Billy is quite attractive..

Posted: 9/2/04 at 6:44pmI guess it depemds how they shape the character. A young hot shot lawyer could be interesting, but I've always thought the older handsome suave type (like a James Bond - well, not really, but you know) would be better. But what do I know - I've only seen the movie, not the show. (And the thought of Alan Thicke as Billy nearly turns me off this old-man thing.)

Posted: 9/2/04 at 6:48pmIf it's the same as the movie, it's probably during hte courtroom scene, right?

Nope, there's no Billy tap dance in the stage show. As I said the Billy dancing is really minor in the Broadway show.
And the gun note, has to be held for almost 30 seconds, I think he could probally do it.

Posted: 9/2/04 at 6:57pmoh there is no doubt in my mind that he could hold that note... id love to see him do some of that dancing and i would definately see the show if he was ANYONE in it

Billy is done very simple in the Broadway show, not much dancing, the singing has to be really good. The gun note has to be perfection. There's no set, or costume changes (besides Roxie and Velma) The show is so awesome, I think Adam would be so great in it.

Posted: 9/2/04 at 7:24pmI would love to see Adam as Billy, I think he'd bring a unique edge to the role. But wouldn't his Mr.Cellophane be amazing? Amos is a smaller role, but that song is worth it.

Yes, I think Amos would we awesome. Mr. Cellophane is one of the best songs in the show (my opinion doesn't hold much weight though, since it might be totally different in the stage version. :) ).
What other parts...not Fiyero in Wicked, just because I think the part is poorly written, and beneath Adam. :) (In Norbert's defense, he could've done better too.) On a totally different topic, aside from Elphie and Galinda, the other supporting characters are kinda crappily written in that show, eh?
Even though he said once that he doesn't like this show, I think he'd have an awesome voice for either Jesus or Judas in JCS.

JCS never interested me, but I'd see Adam in it... are there plans to put it on broadway?
Norbert deserves better than Fiyero, as does Adam.
