No tickets here but I share in ur excitement. Got tixs for Sept 5th--Do u think that will really be the final show or do u think they'll extend it? I really want to be at the closing. Can't wait to see Adam again. Wish they'd get Heather back at least for the final show but from what I hear, fat chance. Enjoy Adam.

I'm jealous!! Well, and excited of course. I'll get tickets soon... when I'm done being broke, or when my mother decides she'd like to pay.
I'll just be home playing my AIDA CD at 8:00 so I'll be there in spirit.
Break a leg Adam!

Toni, we must have posted at the same time. I'm hoping for an extension, but who knows? I mean, we saw with Cabaret, that Adam has the ability to sell tickets, but it's anyone's guess. I don't want to see it go yet.

Hope ur done being broke soon or maybe mom will loosen the purse strings & spring for tix. Good luck. Pull the "But mom it's Adam" card. After all, "Those who don't try never look foolish" (Wicked) & Adam is definitely worth acting a fool. Hey don't u think Adam would be an AWESOME Fiyero?

And I, for one, have the feeling that they may extend the run a little bit. After all...its Disney.

Haha, I've been saying Adam should play Fiyero forever.
And the "mom... it's ADAMMMMMM" card usually does work. It worked quite well for Cabaret. You know, picture an 18 year old turning on the water works and whining "but mommy, I haven't seen Adam in three years... and he's really sexy!" Works like a charm.

Makes my day too. Hmmm... midtown and I have just founded the Esparza heads... maybe we should get an Adam Pascal Appreciation Cult going. But then I think someone would be bound to get upset with me, so scratch that. Yay Adam!
Wouldn't he make a fabulous Fiyero, though? It's kind of a small role, though.

I think Adam is perfect for the role of Fiyero. Yes it's not as big of a part as we'd want it to be but still a perfect fit. When I heard Joe McIntyre was taking over (although I am guilty of being a NKOTB fan from my younger years) I was shocked. I am really hoping to hear that Adam will be taking over in the near future, after Aida of course. However i'd be lying if I told u that I'm not a little curious to see JM as Fiyero. Does Adam have any plans after Aida?

His new CD is due out in the fall, but I think recording is done now. I'm assuming they pushed back the release date since Aida would provide some pretty good publicity for it. He also has two kids, so I'm sure they keep him pretty busy, and then there's still Tarzan, I guess.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing him again...I wasn't before, since I already had my "say goodbye to Adam playing Radames" show last year, but after seeing him at Heather's show...I can't wait.
However, I hope he takes a few days off so his wonderful standby gets some more stage time in before it closes!!!!!!!

I feel so deprived....I haven't seen Adam in Aida at all yet. I'm gonna have to rush it at some point over the summer.

Whoever sees Adam first (or at all) must post a review. I'm dying to know.
Don't throw things at me, but I hope he doesn't do Tarzan. It just sounds dumb to me. I'm all for Wicked, though! And does his CD have an official release date?

None yet. He told me they finished recording in March, and the latest update says "this fall." Probably right around when AIDA closes, if I had to guess.
Tarzan doesn't sound like the most wonderful of musicals, but from the way Adam's potential part has been described, it would be A LOT of singing for him, which won't get any complaints from me!

haha...I hope he got a huge round of applause when he walked out onto stage :)
It bothered me when I saw Toni Braxton in Aida and everyone started cheering in the opening scene. I mean, I always wanted to cheer whenever Adam walked out onstage and when Cheyenne did!
