Addams Family National Tour "cast album"?

Hello.

I was snooping around, and I got to the website of the licensing rights for The Addams Family. On the perusals list, they said that they have a "sampler CD". One can imagine it is simple the Broadway cast recording, right?

But they specifically states that "THE ADDAMS FAMILY Original Broadway Cast Recording which is available on iTunes is not the version that will be licensed by TRW. As the authors revised the show for the national tour (and subsequent licensing), four songs were removed from the Broadway version and four new songs were added. The CD Sampler available here is the "national tour" version, which is the version that is being licensed."

So, there is a version of the revised show, right? Does anyone have any information about this CD sampler? Tracklist? Cast? Anything?

Just like most other licensed shows, the rights come with a different-than-the-OBCR recording for usage when people buy the rights, most times it's because it uses the different orchestrations and vocal arrangements made for licensing and has the instrumental versions as well. The performers of these recordings are usually not the original stars (or any big name stars), btw.

I've heard this recording. It's not a professional cast album it's just a poorly edited soundboard audio from one of the tours. And only some shows come with non commercial demo or reference recordings that are different from the Broadway cast album I wouldn't say "most" do.

At least the recently released cast album of Cry-Baby is a more accurate representation of the revisions.

The cast featured on the Addams Family licensing recording is the cast of the non-Equity tour.
