Posted: 3/20/10 at 2:00am3/17 wednesday mat.. dont have my playbill by me so i forget his name, but the kid who played pugsley came out and walked away quickly as did Carolee and Terrence, the rest of the cast came out except nathan and bebe

Posted: 3/20/10 at 11:36amOut of the three times that I saw the show in Chicago, Nathan only came out after the first preview. Terrence always walked away fast unless someone stopped him (he's VERY nice though).

It was a well known fact that when Nathan was in THE PRODUCERS, he often left the theater through a secret exit that took him through Angus MacIndoo's and then onto the street.
(I'm friends with someone who starred in a subsequent production at the St. James and I've seen the exit door. It's called "Nathan's Lane")

I saw the show in its second week in Chicago. Carolee didn't come out that night 
Terrence Mann walked out of the door looked at the line and walked away despite three girls near me yelling his name. Of course Nathan Lane did not come out. With the exception of those three all of the others came through the line and were very kind and gracious. Bebe, Krysta, and Kevin spent a lot of time talking to people and answering questions in the freezing cold.
