Advice would be appreciated

I find myself with two slots available this weekend, which is an unexpected joy: Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. In NY, I've seen Dear Evan Hansen, Come From Away and Great Comet, & am seeing Dolly on Sunday afternoon. I've seen Groundhog Day, Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon and Play that Goes Wrong in London, and Oslo is out as that is coming to the NT in London later this year.

So what should I see? Of the plays, which is best between Sweat, Six Degrees, Little Foxes and Indecent, how to choose? And of the musicals, which is best between Anastasia, War Paint and Bandstand? I am leaning towards Sweat and Anastasia. Very different of course, but I adore Alison Wright and would like to see Christy Altomare. I've seen LuPone and Ebersole in other roles, but if they are really worth seeing here, I'd like to know. Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Sweat and Anastasia or Six Degrees of Separation and Anastasia. Sweat is fantastic btw.

Can I just throw "A Bronx Tale" into your musicals list? It's not high-brow, but I had a blast.

For plays, can I throw in A Doll's House Part 2 (or Indecent)

I am not interested in any of those musicals.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I've seen Anastasia and War Paint, and although I really wanted to like both of them, I cannot recommend either.

Anastasia felt like a Disney knock-off to me. The story is predictable (spunky girl meets diamond-in-the-rough boy and you know they're going to fall in love long before the first act ends) and the score eschews the grandeur implied by the Romanovs-of-Russia setting in favor of fairy tale orchestrations.

The lead foursome of War Paint is certainly formidable, with powerful and effortless vocal skills all around. Unfortunately, the score seemed to idle along in the same gear for most of the show and the story struck me as contradictory. The women are lauded as strong, pioneering feminists who fought their way to the top in the male-dominated corporate world, and each has their share of lines that rail against the patriarchy and male oppression, yet they both exploit their female customers for revenue by telling them that they should never show their faces in public (and perhaps even in the presence of their husbands) without the likes of lipstick and perfume.

I felt my eyes getting heavy about halfway through the first act of Anastasia and I actually nodded off briefly during War Paint. Your mileage may vary.

I can't speak too much to the musicals - only saw War Paint and I enjoyed it but not at the top of my list. And with two slots available, it wouldn't be one of them.

I think I would recommend two plays - I'd say Sweat and Six Degrees. I haven't seen Indecent but as you see it has great recommendations. My sister raved about it.

If you adore Alison Wright, definitely see Sweat (although her part is quite small.) I also recommend A Doll's House, Part 2 over Indecent, Six Degrees, or Little Foxes (and quite frankly, Sweat.)

A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

Thank you very much, everyone! I've gone for Indecent and A Doll's House, Part 2. I still won't feel confident making any predictions about the Tonys on plays, but at least I won't feel like I've missed out on everything.

Sweeney Todd was rather excellent, as well, if you don't mind leaving the theater district.
