Mine skipped a beat or two, brain rushed to make sense of this while page opened, thinking it cannot be possible as they offer no discounts, then thought Mama could have something, I better go and see this!!!!
Remember the April fools gag I done last year 'Wicked to close in London and New York on a high to make way for film'.
I'm fast running out of shows to see in London - I might have to finally give in and see The Mousetrap as well as The Woman In Black and We Will Rock You.
My heart skipped a beat because it's an institution... which i've only ever met one person who's seen it! How many people on here have actually seen the show and how on earth does it keep running as it's never really spoke about/advertised much etc.
Jesus Loves You... Everybody else thinks you're an idiot!
I've seen it! It was . . . OK I suppose. I didn't see anything exceptional in it to explain the long run, but I enjoyed the play - there was a collective gasp from the audience when we all twigged the identity of the murderer!
There was a huge audience coming out of the theatre last night and they were all discussing it. So it even after four hundred thousand years it still has an audience that love this genre.
Afternoon TV is awash with similar type programmes, Poirot, Frost, Marple, Murder She Wrote, Midsomer Murders etc.. Each asks the audience to play detective and this could contribute to its longevity.
