Interesting casting, but he strikes me as more of an Amos. Curious to see if he pulls it off.

Posted: 6/4/13 at 12:01pmThey add in some amazing talent with Gemignani & Vogt, but then throw us completely off track with Wendy Williams as Mama & keep Wright in the show to continue to have her stumble through her Velma.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

I thought Gemignani was going to do Shrek this summer at the Muny. Does anybody know if he has backed out? If so whose taking over?

Posted: 6/10/13 at 3:24pmGemignani is more of an Amos (I imagine that's what he initially auditioned for), but I could see him pulling off Billy. He's certainly more appropriate for it than other people they've cast in the role in this production.
