Interesting casting, but he strikes me as more of an Amos. Curious to see if he pulls it off.

Paul Vogt is going to be amazing! So glad he's coming back to the stage.

They add in some amazing talent with Gemignani & Vogt, but then throw us completely off track with Wendy Williams as Mama & keep Wright in the show to continue to have her stumble through her Velma.

I thought Gemignani was going to do Shrek this summer at the Muny. Does anybody know if he has backed out? If so whose taking over?

He is still listed on the website.

Alex could actually play either role (and, in the future, may).

Gemignani is more of an Amos (I imagine that's what he initially auditioned for), but I could see him pulling off Billy. He's certainly more appropriate for it than other people they've cast in the role in this production.
