Has anyone read the book "Begin with Yes?" Alice Ripley wrote the forword to it? Just curious!
If you're asking whether or not she wrote the forward, it appears she did.

Does anyone know if Alice will be in the show on 10/5? Also how many people will be at the lottery for that day?

I just ordered the book - will let you know if it's any good. Has anyone else read it?

Jordan,
If Next to Normal is still running on 10/5, hopefully it recoups long before then!
Does she sign with bubble letters at all shows or certain ones? If anyone has a bubble letter signing schedule I'd really appreciate it.
Pretty sure she always does the bubble letters.
Sarcasm, people, sarcasm. How can that still get by some of you?
*facepalm* I should have known, lol.

When is she taking a vacation? I am taking my parents next year, and they only agreed to go to see the crazy lady who shouted her Tony Award speech and they'll be mad if they don't get to see her.

I ordered the book "Begin with Yes" from Amazon and just finished it. It's a really good - motivational book and the Alice Ripley Foreward is truly inspiring! You can download the first chapter for free at www.beginwithyes.com -

I remember seeing her in the SONG portion of Song and Dance at the Kennedy Center and thought she was great in the part. I wish I had taken advantage of the opportunity to see her in Company. I would've LOVED to see her sing Not Getting Married Today.
I taped her Kennedy Ctr performance of Getting Married. Loved her in a Christmas concert a few years back singing a capella, O Holy Night with Raul Esparza. Saw her in Tommy and Rocky Horror twice each, Sideshow, Sunset Blvd, James Joyce The Dead but none compared to her Next to Normal performance. Absolutely loved it, and it continues to haunt me.
I took a friend from work to see the show as a Cristmas present last month, and she loved it so much that she's taking me tomorrow night to say thanks. I'm excited to see KDM again as Gabe. I like to go spend an evening with the Goodman's at least once a month. Thank goodness for TDF.
