I just checked the website for new announcements and Alice is not on the list anymore. I'm kinda bummed. I was looking forward to meeting her.
Hopefully it was for a job opportunity. Im sorry you will miss her.
I hope it is to! I think it is worth it if she gets work :)
You should never assume anyone will actually be there until you see them in person.
She tweeted that she has a rehearsal in Seattle the next day but she'll be signing and posing after her 54 Below show.
Yeah I knew she was doing Carrie in Seattle in October so I was not expecting her to be announced at all. I wish I could see her in Carrie. It's going to be amazing!
She is at 54 Below this Thursday at 9:30pm.
Oh, man! I didn't know she was doing a show there! I'll be working at my show then and have to miss it.
Will it be recorded?
Bummer. I've never really found the autograph table to be worth it, but I've always somehow managed to run into her over the course of the day. She's always willing to chat with fans.
On the upside "Ripley Reflects" WILL indeed be recorded! This is for the description of the show to be held on 9/19/13:
"Following her recent sold out appearance at 54 Below, Tony Winner Alice Ripley returns with her brand new evening of your favorite music in Ripley Reflects. Expect a carefully crafted sampling of songs from shows in which she was an original Broadway cast member, as well as a healthy serving of melodies that cover a wide range of genres, including her own original tunes! Ripley’s recent award-winning turn in Next to Normal (Best Actress in a Musical) took place long after Broadway had already fallen in love with Alice in shows such as Side Show (Tony and Drama Desk Nominations), Sunset Boulevard, The Rocky Horror Show and The Who’s Tommy. Ripley Reflects will be captured on a new recording, to be released November 2013!"

Saw her last night at Backstage at 54 Below...she was amazing! So nice afterward as well.
Carly Sakolove (an impressionist) did the bit where she sings one song in many voices when they're called to her. When Alice's name was called, before she could begin Ms Ripley took the mic from the front row and sang it herself - crowd went nuts. It was really fun.
