Just wondering...why, when they announced Alice's name at the Tonys, did they say for the role of Diana and not Diana Goodman?

For most of the show she's just refered to as Diana. the last name doesn't really come up all that much.

Also, the Playbill only lists the first names of the characters other than the doctors. That says "Diana" and not "Diana Goodman". If I'm not mistaken, the doctors are the only ones who use the last name except for Natalie in her recital.

I pulled it out just out of curiosity. But yeah, only the doctors' last names are mentioned in there.
