I did a search, but couldn't find anything so I apologize if there was one.
What has American Idiot lotto been like recently? I'm planning on going Thursday.
Has anyone tried to rush A Little Night Music in the afternoon, any luck? I would probably get to the BO at 3, is it worth it to try?
Has anyone tried South Pacific recently?
Fela!... same question.
Thanks for any help, I really appreciate it!
I rushed Night Music on Sunday and got there at 1030 for a noon opening and was 10th in line, and 20 people came up right after me so I think you really need to get there early

I can't speak for the rushes since I'm no longer a student in their sense of the word.
But the sidewalk has been packed for Idiot lottery every time I've walked by. Packed to the point where people have to walk in the street to get around them.
Yeah i lottoed AI the day before opening and there were at least 100 other people there
AI lotto is insane. The sidewalk is literally packed. If you don't win, get the partial views-they're really not that bad, you don't miss that much :)

I got ALNM rush tickets in the afternoon (probably around 3 or so) for the 8 PM show on Saturday this past weekend.
Thank you Parks...thats good to hear. I'm planning on rushing ALMN tomorrow but the earliest bus I can take doesn't arrive until almost 10 so I guess I shouldn't have trouble getting tickets for the evening show.
American Idiot Lottery has been interesting lately since some of the leads have been out, thus those who have seen the show numerous times (and probably wouldn't have planned on seeing it again... so soon...) have been trying to see the understudies for a different experience, which adds to the mix of tourists, curious bystanders, and others who are there.
Thursday might be a bit crazier than usual because the cast would have just performed at Bryant Park so people might want to see the actual show and try lotto. That's just my take on it.
Thanks for the help! Keep it coming!
I think rush has gotten more competitive for ALNM since it was re-reviewed. I went this past Wednesday and by the time the box office opened, there were probably about 30-35 people in line. The day before it reopened (last Saturday), I got to the box office at 9:50 and was twelfth in line. Just keep that in mind.

Sounds like it really varies from day to day--but I hope you are able to get tickets! Keeping my fingers crossed for you, backwoodsbarbie!
adding La Cage to the question, has anyone attempted to get there in the afternoon?
^ yes and they were sold out of rush tickets
I attempted to get rush tickets for La Cage awhile back. While they were sold out of them, I did get the balcony seats that were being sold at the same price. The only difference between the two is that the rush seats are in the boxes. Not a bad view at all I must say.
As for American Idiot. There was only one time where I tried the lotto on my own and won, and that was the second preview. While I do remember it being crazy as well as the people running it still trying to figure out how to do crowd control during it I still won. The second time, it was somewhat crowded, but I was with a friend and my friend's name got called over mine so I still got to see the show that time around as well.
Going to NYC next week & I was wondering how lotto/rush for N2N, Tenor & WSS are, or if any of them are offering lotto loser tickets. If not, its TKTS for me :/
I don't know about LMaT or WSS, but n2n offers lotto-losers seats. They're usually on the side orchestra, but they might give you a seat elsewhere.

Which would be an easier lotto for American Idiot: wednesday matinee or wednesday evening?
What has the AI rush been like on Mondays?
