American Utopia Discount

Happy New Year!
I have been looking but haven't been able to find any discount ticket codes for David Byrne's "American Utopia" at the Hudson Theater. Does anyone know of any?

Rush tickets on Today Tix was easy - $39, we got front row balcony

How easy? I've been trying for over a week and keep getting the message that all the tickets are being held - even though I'm ready to press my quantity at 10 on the dot!

You have to go beyond ready to actually hitting the button. That's a critical distinction.

But really, I can't even press my quantity before they're already held by others. Am I missing something or is the show just that much more popular in its final weeks?

Sorry if I sounded flip about rush being easy. The morning I tried, I started with Lucy Barton and the tickets were all held, so went to American Utopia and got 2 tickets right away. This was on Jan. 8.

I got a rush ticket for tonight!

 

Even after I got the "All tickets are being held" I stayed vigilant and kept pressing the "1 ticket" button.

 

After two minutes or so, I suddenly found myself on the page which allowed me to complete my purchase.

 

A little wonky, but very excited to see the show!
