I'd love to see Cara, although im Amy's fan, I love to see TWS with different cast members. I was lucky enough to catch Tina Maddigan as Julia 3 times. Sometimes you are so used to a certain performer that you just can't see anyone else playing it, but it's fun to see someone else's take at the same time.

I saw Cara and Tina on, on the same night, and it was one of the BEST theatre experiences I've ever had. Cara Cooper is amazing as Holly (as is Tina as Julia), and they're both super-sweet girls.
Sidenote: The grosses for this week are up, another excellent week for TWS! Nice to see it in the 80's and making money, lets hope the ticket sales stay up!
You tell them Dougie:) I do love me some Cara Cooper:)
What is your dream role?
My dream role would be to be myself. To be performing at the Hollywood Bowl and to have an audience there just to see me, as Stephanie. They are there because they like what I do as a singer, an artist and a person (the last being the most important). I enjoy escaping and portraying other characters, but to be accepted and wanted as yourself... that's amazing! --Stephanie J. Block
Just one of the many reasons I admire and respect Stephanie!!
Amy Spanger was on tonight, tuesday eve and was like totally awesome. Sorry had to get in an 80's phrase in there somehow. I especially loved her in Right in Front of Your Eyes.
I was there tonight . . . Amy was in, Nicolette was Linda for the first time. She was GREAT: dead-on acting/looks, vocals, dancing, everything. She was really adorable after the show too, and a lot of cast members were congratulating and talking with her and her family at the stage door. The show was SO on tonight; the audience was great and I think that boosted up the energy level of the show . . . those guys didn't stop! It was really, really awesome tonight.
Im glad you enjoyed the show as much as many of us have Matiboi, I bet Nicolette Hart did a fantastic job. All the understudies and standbys in this show seem to be great. And of course it's good to hear that Amy Spanger is back! Her "Right in Front of your Eyes" is one of the best songs I've heard in awhile. The music by Matthew Sklar is really awesome.

Amy Spanger was in the show today and sounded fine. I was excited to see Cara Cooper though. I will have to go another time to see Cara. Anyway know any scheduled performances?
I remember something being mentioned about Amy maybe doing selected performances for awhile until her voice is definitely better. Anyone know if that is actually happening, or if I just made that up lol?

I chose, and my world was shaken- So what? The choice may have been mistaken,
The choosing was not...

Laura said earlier that Amy was back yesterday. I'm glad to hear Amy's voice wasn't too damaged from that "blowout" on Saturday. What I love about Amy though is that no matter what happened on Saturday, she kept going and NEVER broke character or let it affect her performance. I adore her and love watching her perform. She is so beautiful, dedicated and talented. Being in the front row for her numbers is such a treat because you get to see, up close and personal, a real talented lady at work.
Cara's wonderful and if anyone has the chance to see her, they should. She has a much different take than Amy but both approaches are incredible.
Haven't seen Nicolette but I've heard that she is just wonderful and absolutely hysterrical. Felicia is hard to beat, though, in my opinion. Felicia can do no wrong!

Felicia is indeed amazing!!! this is a drop dead gorgeous girl, that can sing, dance, act and be funny at the same time. Not like it means too much, but i remember The New York Times' Brantley raving her performance, as well as Matthewe Saldivar's.

Amy barely had any voice to sing with, amplified or not. It was like Kathleen Turner trying to belt. Amy's voice was gone and it was obviously very difficult for her to sing that day. But she pressed on taking the risk.

I saw the show Wed. afternoon and absolutely loved it! I was very suprised. We also met Margo Lion...she introduced herself to us (my friend's uncle is a producer, as well). Sweet lady. So is Tina Maddigan.
