It's simple yet resplendent. I love it!
For some reason I expect Le Pink Panther to jump out from behind the kiosk thing.

It's a new musical with an old score. I agree that it's misleading, but other musicals have done the same thing.

^^^ I totally agree CATS! I think even YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN billed it as a New Musical and some marquees all over the US still bill it as that. And, here I am going..."New? Did they change it"? How long does it not become "New" anymore.
I think a post was actually started on that topic a few years ago!
Old school very fitting , reinforces my perception of the show. You would think they would try for a younger audience with the marketing. This plays up to the older movie fan base - preaching to the converted. What's with all this old product coming to Broadway this season?
I don't mind Young Frankenstein doing it as that show featured an original score. This show is essentially a Gershwin jukebox musical with a new book as was Crazy For You and Nice Work if You Can Get It. Both of those shows were advertised as "new" even though there weren't any new songs in them save for a few trunk songs people may have been unfamiliar with. I guess it's okay to call it new since the book is new, but I still say it's misleading.
